Right now the internet is awash with boy projects and I am loving it!!! Specifcially Made By Rae and Made are having Celebrate the Boy at their blogs. A wonderful lady in my ward is pregnant with twin boys and I had the pleasure of attending her baby shower tonight. It was sooooo nice to have a night out especially after this week of colds. So I made some tie onesies based on this tutorial- Crap I've Made. Mine did not turn out quite as nice. It was fraying around the edges more than i would have liked. The fabric was super cute though and made up a little for my flaws. If/when I do it again I will cut two tie pieces sew it together and then sew it on the onesie. Then there will be nothing to fray and I might leave the bottom half free for baby to chew on. :)
Way to go! You did a great job, especially with everyone still on the mend in your household. I like those fabrics too. Did she like them?
ReplyDeleteIf you only want to do one tie piece and have less fraying issues you can do the zig zag stitch right along the edge of the tie fabric. Or is that what you did and I just can't tell from the pics??? Anyway, still very cute!
SO DANG CUTE! Great job!
ReplyDeleteVERY cute. But I still have issues with putting skull & cross bones on baby clothes! LOL
ReplyDeleteThose are super cute! I think I may need one! :)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering why I saw no new posts on my google reader for you. I never went to see though.
ReplyDeleteI only live 20 mins. outside of ABQ. We'll have to get the boys together. That's awesome!
